Mari graduated in Biochemistry at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2016. She has got a Master degree in Chemistry at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2018. 

She is now involved in the extraction and characterization of wine and pomegranate anthocyanins for potential uses in the cosmetic industry as a result of Antho4Skin project.
