Hiba Bouzaid

Hiba BOUZAID holds a PhD in Biotechnologies and Chemistry of Bioactive Molecules and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity Management and Conservation at the Faculty of Science and Technology-Fez, Morocco. Her research focuses on natural products and their bioactive properties.

Since 2021, she has been at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (REQUIMTE), where she expanded her work on food bioactives.

She is currently a Research Intern in the VIIAFOOD project at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto.

She has experience in HPLC, GC-MS, biological activity, toxicity, and experimental design and statistics using JMP software, has contributed to several scientific publications, and has teaching experience.
