Wen Tao got her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering at Yangtze Normal University (China) in 2019. In 2022, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Food Science at Wuhan polytechnic University (China). 


During that period she worked with the preparation, structural characterization, anti-oxidation, anti-colitis, anti-diabetes and other bioactivities of modified polysaccharides derive from plants.


Since October 2022, Wen Tao is a PhD student of the Doctoral Programme in Sustainable Chemistry, LAQV-REQUIMTE and she is studying “From the bioavailability to bioactivity, and utilization of bioactive compounds from fruits and vegetables by-products.”
